The Mets finally fired Willie Randolph. Apparently all sane people knew he would be fired before the GM knew it was inevitable. lol At the end of last year he deserved to be fired for their collapse. At the beginning of this year they had a meeting and the GM claimed he was not going to be fired. I knew it was stupid not to fire him then also. The Mets are underperforming to an extreme.

I can't think of a single player on there performing as good as they normally do. Billy Wagner I guess. But Beltran, no. Santana, no. Reyes, no. Delgado, no. Wright, not even close.
