A lot of people were tlaking down University OF Memphis' athletics as a whole back when the basketball team was #1 and claimed that was all they had.

Well I already mentioned the cheerleaders and dance teams. Of course the basketball team is always great now. Well now 4 players from U of M were selected in major league baseball's amateur draft and several students are near the top in the nation in shot put and hammer throw.

The women's basketball team used to be good also and the football team has been to.... I think 4 bowl games in the past 5 years.
