Two Wal-Mart employees were shot to death Tuesday in the parking lot of a company supercenter store in a Phoenix suburb, and police later nabbed a suspect after an areawide search, Glendale police said.

That Wal-Mart is less than a mile away from my house, literally just across the freeway from me. If I was home at the time, I probably would of heard the shots . The helicopters were hovering over my house for like 6 hours straight. Our bus almost had to undergo "lockdown" where they drop us off at our door . It was scary because the sheriff's heli was hovering over and searching our neighborhood at the time our bus arrived so we though we were gonna have to do "lockdown". Luckily neither of the two kids shot were from my school. I have a few friends that have half days (they're seniors) and they work there .

Yeah it is. When I was on the bus, our driver was on the radio askin bout doin the lockdown and they said its not needed. I didnt think anything about it and then when I got off, my mom happened to be getting home at the same time and asked if I noticed the helicopters and I said no. We decided something must of happened and about 15 minutes later they broke in with "Breaking News" bout the shooting. I was shocked and immediately came back inside when they said they hadn't caught the guy. They caught him just about 2-3 miles from my house.
