There is not really a topic for just general discussion from day to day about baseball so I am making this to discuss interesting things going on from time to time.

Main interesting thing yesterday was that Werth had an inside the park homerun and then the very next batter, Utley, hit one out of the park in the traditional way.

Back to back inside outside.

Utley still leads the majors with 9 homeruns.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but without a general thread like this if I wanted to talk about something that happened each day I had to be all disorganized posting it in unrelated topics or else make a new topic for each thing, which would have just made it a lot of topics with no repolies as it is now.

The Memphis Redbirds beat the team with the best record in all of baseball (minors or majors) tonight. Their record was 21-1.

To say Lance Berkman is on fire is one of the biggest understatements ever.

Past 9 games: 24 for 35 (.686).

last 11 games: 15 runs batted in.

Since that post, in the past 2 days he has 2 more homers and a stolen base. He already has 15 homers, 7 steals, and is batting around .400.

I was going to draft him on every team and I only ended up with him on one. Ahhhhh. Now too late to get him for decent price. lol

Berkman got steal #8 and 2 more hits today.

All of my pitchers just flat keep struggling. Also there is NOW AY I would have drafted Vladimir if not for the fact that Aaron drafted him and claimed last year he was coming off steroirds, thus causing me to think he changed his mind about him and now I dumbly drafted him also and he is doing absolutely zippo.

Ludwick still on fire and Jose Guillen is pretty much on fire still also.

Bruce immediately made himself known by going 3 for 3 with a steal in his debut. Unfortunately the league I have him in is my only weekly league so he is not in.

Interesting seeing a 10-9 game with the cubs and rockies and not a single rbi from soriano, aramis, derek lee, holliday, atkins, or hawpe.

As usual the veteran outduels the youngster. Chamberlain showed how it's done by Halladay.

lol my luck resumes. The first day I have johan santana this year he just gave up a grand slam to felix hernandez of all players. At least all runs were unearned and I own king felix on the same team santana is on though.

Jerred Weaver has a no-hitter through 5 innings and is losing. Could he be another Hawkins? We shall see.

Harden with another no-decision despite a great outing. They are babying him. He didn't even get to 85 pitches and they took him out!

Braves showing how dumb it is to take out stars when down by a lot of runs. They are down 12-7 in the eighth inning and a no-name is batting instead of Texiera since he was taken out innings back. If he were up now and would homer, it would be 12-11 just like that.

Pujols could get the triple crown if he ahdn't been out for 3 weeks due to injury. He's something like 8 homers and 27 rbis back which very well could have been achieved in 3 pujols weeks (along with these fnal 3 weeks also).
