All made possible thanks to a miracle comeback by Memphis, a close win by Tennessee, and Dike losing the last day before Poll relesase.

As for me, I'll get my nose out of joint If we don't beat 'em by at least 30 points. So as Coach Cal accepts the cheers of the crowd As Coach Murphy would say-he did hisself proud. February 24, 200818 yr Author comment_9250 Jack Eaton is cool. He always used to write poems related to the Tigers a lot. What sucks is I started liking them after he was finished being a broadcaster for the team itself. He still was a tv sportscaster though. I wish he was still doing the radio! Tonight's game should be a big one. I sure hope Dorsey plays hard. This is the main road block from being the first undefeated team in over 30 years. Well the main one before the ncaa tourney anyway.

Even if we win out from now on and win the national championship it still is not comparable to if we had finished undefeated. We possibly will be #1 again in 1 week if Tennessee loses to Vandy, but still it won't be the same. I predict memphis #2 on one poll and #3 on the other.
February 24, 200818 yr comment_9253 Another chance at an undefeated season blown. I actually think this will benefit Memphis come tourney time. They'll still get a 1 seed and now they wont have the added pressure of trying to stay undefeated.
February 24, 200818 yr Author comment_9255 I know, but what does it really matter? In a couple years people forget who won the national championships, but they don't forget undefeated teams. Like someone said, Peyton brought bad luck to a second undefeated team in a month. Sigh.
