Posted January 25, 200818 yr comment_9132 I started a Betting Contest for the Presidential Race. You must do these first 5 predictions before the deadline on February 1'st. I will later add some of the same questions again most liekly, and definitely will add the President one again once the official candidates are known. So there will probably be anywhere from 6-10 questions when it's all said and done. The grand prize is 1,000 points. Would be higher if this place was more active.

February 21, 200818 yr Author comment_9231 Well luckily I have felt healthy so maybe I will make it. Would kind of suck if neither of us do becuase 1. We wouldn't see who won and 2. I am the only one with passwords so nobody could even ever pay it out. lol At least we won;'t have another of these for 4 years. I am not planning on some local government races in the future, ha. I do kind of want to do some Olympics game, but I would wait until later I guess or maybe do them separately instead of as contests.

As a note, I am asking who will be President a third time after the August 31'st deadline of the second one. That one will last until the day before the actual election. So that will be the only question left and this will end up having a total of 9 questions. Actually to make it have an even 10, I will throw in a question around election time for you to predict how much the winner will win by.
June 10, 200817 yr Author comment_10034 ok I PMed Aaron 2 days in a row to bet on these latest matchups. Since we are the only two who ever use the betting system and he refuses to follow throiugh on contests, that is why I am not going to bother adding matchups ubtil there are some people here who want to use it. For a contest totally ignoring part of the contest makes the whole contest worthless and I am going to end up most likely winning it yet again. I want other members to win contests and if they don't try when I actually TRY to let them win, then obviously I need to stop adding things to be bet on. I could have added the horse races and boxing matchups, but I knew this same thing would happen on those too. I think I will just spend my time trying to improve the system rather than using it. Until someone tells me they want to use it. One thing I want to do is make it possible to have payout odds for all choices rather than only 1 underdog. That way for horse racing I could have had their real life odds. I will add that later once I am done working on reviews system and take a break for some days.
