Posted January 18, 200818 yr comment_9103 I got rid of the awards system which was never even used. Basically it would allow for me to give awards to people for being the best at something and then they would have some graphic show in topics. I just noticed even without me using it, it has been DOUBLING the number of queries per topic. In fact, more than doubling it. So topics were surely being slowed down by it, especially for people with slower connections. I also changed other things here and there trying to get performance to be at its best. If yuo see any broken links for smileys, please let me know that also becuase I changed the directory I am using for them. It appears they are all fine still though.
