Hopefully within the next month I will have a version of Sports Betting software up. I am working on it all on my own based on knowledge I got from working on the Reviews System. In just a few hours I have actually already been able to get the backbone of the system on this site and pretty much finished the front page of it. As far as making a system itself, it is easier than I thought to understand the setup. The hard part is going to be the calculations involved in the betting I guess.

I also will hopefully have the Reviews System how I want it, thus being able to say it's pretty much complete. It already is fine to submit reviews anyway, as any changes I will make to it will not affect data already entered anyway.

So hopefully by January 1'st, I will have the following done:

1. Reviews system- A page for requesting people to review things not yet reviewed. A tips/information page for each product. Improved system for submitting a review. Better skinning.

2. Sports Betting- Some betting system there where at least some sporting events can be bet on. Some sort of stats. Some profile pages. Display pages showing your winnings and losses. Skinning.

3. System Similar To Youtube- This has nothing to do with me other than I will install it. Someone else made it and is finishing it up. I thought it would be nice to be able to share videos here. It would be resource-intensive though, so I am debating it.

4. More Points Integration- I am hoping to integrate the points system with blog and gallery. Although as you can see I will be so busy with other things, I am not sure if I will have time by the end of the month. Not to mention it is the Christmas season now.

FUTURE PLANS FOR SPORTS BETTING:

1. A Tournament System for the NCAA Tournament.

2. A Bowl Pick System.

3. Information Pages for teams and stats for their seasons, thus a quick way to get information before betting points on teams.

4. Some sort of fantasy sports additions to the system.

Once again: I am new at programming and so it's up in the air whether I can get done what I want to get done. Judging by what I did today, it looks possible though.

Thank You

Hmnm, I really am running out of things to do to try to get things active. My only goal is to get it fun with people talking, not even about any money. Sucks I have good intentions and still can't get it to happen. lol

The main thing I want to do on the forums themselves is redo the look of profiles. It already has a unique look on the green skin.... , but I want to do it even differently than that.

Also I would like to make some new things. The only mod I currently am thinking of making is one that admins can use, so it won't help anyone here.

That youtube thing is out the window.

But anyway I may rearrange AGAIN the forums. It is too cluttered and not quick finding the forums you want to go to.

Should I combine all sports into one? All entertainment into one?

Not sure exactly, but things need to be much better organized and I really want a nice crisp, user-friendly skin for the main skin!

Someone give me ideas on getting this place active.

Later today I really need to make some changes. I need to think of a better layout and also I need to come to final decisions about the review system set up where I can write more reviews. I am mainly deciding what things should be rated for each product still. I hate to omit something.
