August 15, 200520 yr Author comment_1278 Yeah I've seen those, I ventured around the GGMB place after you mentioned it durign classics. I figured they'd be covering nationals... it's very... interesting, some of it. Very gossip-masterful.
August 15, 200520 yr comment_1280 lol. I love the expression on Alicia's face in that picture. ^_^ Wee! I'm finally done with letters. Now my knuckles hurt. I ended up writing to Nastia, Ashley Priess, Tessa, Jana, and Bianca. I loved writing them, definitely going to write to Chellsie, Shayla, and many others at a later date. One quick question: Does anyone know the website of the gym Jana trains at for sure? Because I get various gyms and I need her gym address and I'm all confuzzled.
August 15, 200520 yr comment_1282 I think I'll try mailing it to Twisters Gymnastics of Boca Raton. That sounds close enough. Hope it'll work. *Prays* ^_^
August 15, 200520 yr Author comment_1283 I can't imagine there is more than one Twisters Gymnastics in Florida. But good choice of gymnasts Cody. Ah! I was talking to my friend and he's a gymnast and all that and I haven't seen him in forever cause he just started home schooling this year. So I asked if he saw Nationals and J.O.s and he was like "Duh... I was there." I was like wtf? He placed 14th AA too!!! I'm so proud, I'm confused as to how many Jr. Men's Level 9 can make it on the National Team though. Anyone know?

Woah, congrats to him! That must've been quite a shock to hear he actually went. I'm not to sure about the number for Level 9, so I can't help that question. Theres also American Twisters, Kassi Price used to go there <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I was kind of confused by American Twister's. I guess Jana used to go to AT becasue it has a bio but hasn't been updated in a year and it's not in teh city of Boca. So I think I picked the right one. Thanks for that bit of help, Megan.
August 15, 200520 yr comment_1293 I guess tessa's leos are the ebst. i dunno. Anyway as for what Jaime said about her friends liking the flexible girls, yeah they rock. lol
August 15, 200520 yr Author comment_1296 No they aren't cool... not at all. http://www.jonationals.com/images/gymnasts.../sebastian.html That's Rohan, Dynamo is like right down the street too, off Hefner or whatever but I still like Matt Trotters, we kick their butts in women's division. But go Ro!
August 15, 200520 yr comment_1306 Rohan looks quite strong. He must have quite the abs and arm strength to do that pose, I've tried that and it's not easy and I have good ab strength. ^_^ Must be nice to know a high-ranked gymnast. If anyone's interested, here are the glorified Neilsen Ratings for Nationals this weekend: Saturday's Article: Clickity Sunday's Article: Clickity Gah, those ratings are terrible, I can't wait to see the actual statistics. If this keeps up, I'm not too sure how long gymnastics will be shown on regular TV except for the Olympics. We even lost to a no-name movie on Saturday.
August 15, 200520 yr Author comment_1309 Ha, Cody that's like a piked sit, I can do that. It's almost harder on your legs than your abs and it takes balance lol. I used to be able to do it on rings when my brother was still in gym we had some in the backyard, I don't know about now but I can still do it on like p-bars and like... the fridge door and the kitchen counter lol, but yeah I think he ended up getting like 29th but he got 14th to get into finals and beat a few WOGA boys hahaha!! He's really good at speech too, he kicked my ass in Declamation, it was really funny because before we went into the room (it's just speech contest held by like the Catholic high school lol, so we did our speeches in random class rooms) Rohan and my friend Thomas were doing hand stand competitions and Thomas is just really bad... yeah guess you had to be there lol. Maybe it would help if 1. NBC actually advertised it!!! I didn't see one commercial all week! and 2. showed more than 4 gymnasts so that people could root for like hometown girls and crap.
August 15, 200520 yr comment_1314 I guess that's why I can't do a piked sit, I haven't worked on my legs in literally a year. My legs started hurting after riding a bike down the road last week, got to start running again. We have a speech contest also, onyl it's called Forensics. It's kind of cool how well they speak. Lord knows I'd never excel in that. By myself yes but with others no, too nerve-wracking. I guess I would have to be there, but I could picture how it'd be funny to see a really good handstander compared to a bad one. ^_^ Yeah, I only heard one advertisement for it and it was during a sports break on NBC during Volleyball. Not going to attract much there. And I can't believe no stations around here did anything on it, even with Chellsie living in Wisconsin. And I saw a little snipplet in like page 5 of the Sports section just about Nastia. Oh well, at least there's some people who like gymnastics; I hate saying I'm a gymfan at school becasue I'm afraid I'll be considered a bit awkward. Oh well.
August 15, 200520 yr Author comment_1318 Ha, they're fun... I dunno I do them all he time randomly just like I sorta half way press to handstand *don't know if I can go all the way anymore, haven't tried* I'm just weird I guess? Or maybe I'm cool, I don't know Well, Thomas isn't just a bad handstander... he fell like 15 times into like walls, chairs, desks, people, etc. lol. He was really good though, I think he did JFK's speech. Well, Cody my dear, I'm from Oklahoma, where football may be THE sport, but Shannon Miller is still our Holy Grail, because only a handful of famous people from here are really worth claiming (i.e. Shannon Miller, Reba Macntire, Brad Pitt <3, All American Rejects, Dave Mirra... i.e. NOT Hanson, Garth Brookes, ect.) so every mother tries to send their little precious darling to Dynamo or Bart Conner's or somewhere. If you ask just about any girl here, doesn't matter the size, shape, or age, she's been to at least one gymnastics class when she was little. It's all pretty relatable and respectable here so when it comes up it comes up, most guys are clueless but the ones who aren't get attention for like the day we're talking about it, and they like that lol. PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICTURES!!!!!!!!!
August 15, 200520 yr comment_1320 yeah that was dumb NBC kept showing only 4. Exactly why I said they needed to spend 2 hours per day. And Jaime, you keep not taking any pics of you doing these things. You're already supposed to be! lol
August 15, 200520 yr comment_1326 Ha, they're fun... Yeah, I guess that would be pretty funny to see him fall on stuff and people. Gosh. That's nothing like Wisconsin, except football being our passion much like Oklahoma. We don't have many famous people from here that I know of (Georgia O'Keefe, Harry Houdini, and Frank Lloyd Wright are the only ones that come to mind). But where I live there is only 1 gymnastics center, which I'm thinkng about getting a job there, but that's a whiles away from my house. We also have the YMCA but that's just...something else. There literally isn't another gym for 50+ miles from Green Bay, so there aren't very many gymfans compared to elsewhere, or as far as I can see. So pretty much we have football and if you don't like that, than your an outcast. We even have a class that is pretty much Fantasy Football. I hate to say it but we have a bland sporting community up here, but a passionate one nonetheless. Oh well, we have Packer's and that good enough for me for now. ^_^ Go us! But I wish they would make a tour this year so I could see some live gymnastics, that'd be awesome if they made one for 2005. And that's cool that pretty much every girl has been to gymnastics once in their life. yeah that was dumb NBC kept showing only 4. Exactly why I said they needed to spend 2 hours per day. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, definitely 2 hours would be fun to watch with more than 4 gymnasts. I mean, no offense even though my favorite gymnast was one of them, it gets rather boring only hearing about them when there is a whole lot more competition that what it seems. Even adding Juniors would make it better to watch.
August 15, 200520 yr comment_1327 yeah exactly. I dont like many other seniors, so 1 hour seniors and 1 hour juniors sure would ahve been cool.
August 15, 200520 yr comment_1331 Word on the street is that NBC said that they were going to show JR highlights on Sunday. CLEARLY they did not. Stupid effers.
August 16, 200520 yr comment_1332 I wish sme other network would be the one showing gymnastics. The majority are always NBC. I wonder if it is set up like major league baseball contracts. basically I am not sure if they can televise as many as they want and show as many hours as they want or if there are some limits. If there is no rule limiting which meets they can show or how many hours they can show then I wish some other network would show them. but if it is like baseball there may be some contract where another network cant just come in and do it.

August 16, 200520 yr Author comment_1339 Nice one Jason. I want junior videos... like anything. A video of Tessa chalking up or Bianca sitting or Shayla scratching her nose, I mean c'mon anything.
August 16, 200520 yr comment_1343 We just gotta be patient with the vids, theres gonna be a heck of a lot in a few days or so im sure!! Well the person with the photobucket as JR Finals pics up. I absolutely LOVE this picture of Tessa
