Posted November 2, 200718 yr comment_8605 Joe Torre, as usual, went against several things he said and signed with the Dodgers for the next 3 years. First off he gets a hugs pay cut, a bigger one epr season than he would have with the Yankees. Second off he said he didn't want to move and yet he accepted a job completely across the country.
November 20, 200718 yr Author comment_8680 It's funny all of these players who insisted they loved him so much still are choosing to stay with the Yankees. If they really believed he was so great, they would have never resigned. Canseco, Greenwell, Naehring backed up their claims by leaving Boston when Kevin Kennedy was fired. I guess either they are bigger men than Arod and Rivera or else these two are lying that they thought Joe was so great and undeserving of losing his job. lol
January 3, 200818 yr Author comment_9006 Torre is as nutty as ever. He said he isn't choosing sides between Clemens and his ex-trainer, yet then he later said Clemens "is proud and likes to do the right thing". Hmmmm I wonder whose side he is taking. So stupid, but hey that's why the Yankees couldn;t win more world series. His weird decisions and dishonesty.
April 9, 200817 yr Author comment_9627 Torre is doing nothing more than show how dumb he is yet again. A proven base stealer like Pierre left to rot on the bench. It's one thing to think Kemp should start. It's another to not use Pierre at all. I am not waiving him becuase I bet he demands a trade. He is being waived in my other leagues. I may pick him up. Because no way will he stay there to get 2 at-bats per week.
April 16, 200817 yr Author comment_9693 Now even rotoworld knows Torre is not smart in his decisions. They keep making fun of him using pierre at all over his other outfielders. They say "even torre" is smarter thanh benching kemp today instead of ethier. I wish Pierre would be traded. I guess I need to waive him. Rotoworld may think he is so horrible, but it's someone who can steal 50+ any year. He deserves to play somewhere.
