As usual as time goes on science flipflops and changes their stories which are presented as fact for so many years. Now according to some scientists the appendix serves a function after all. It supposedly protects good germs and protects good germs also.

This is why it's hard for me to take medical professionals' advice on things. So often something they present as fact turns out to be untrue. Not just medical science, but science in general such as the constantly changing age of the Earth.
