Motor City 74 -----me 68----- shawny cash 65.5 radar lock 64 frantic light night rally 61.5 batting average (went from .2810 to .2820 yesterday alone) arch .2852 dunder .2829 radar .2821 frantic .2821 (3)me .2820 e.r.a. frantic 3.534 (9)me 3.620 cardiac 3.886 homers shawny 260 arch 258 (5.5)me 252 legends 252 jaybirds 248 k's (I have high k guys like burnett, clemens, oliver,etc... and will do nearly as many starts as motor city so I dont think he can catch me) radar 1208 cardiac 1184 (6)me 1163 motor city 1156 runs can't gain or lose saves (legends has 0 closers in so I can forget all mine and not get caught and it is playing PERFECTLY into my hand becuase look how many are behind me in wins coming towards me) frantic 94 (6)me 88 legends 87 rbis dunder 1024 (4)me 1003 wins shawny 103 (9)me 99 dunder 98 radar 97 jaybords 97 steals (I am loaded here) radar 197 (8.5)me 194 motor city 194 whip (10)me 1.250 frantic 1.251 cardiac 1.258
September 23, 200718 yr Author comment_8432 oops i forgot to include in that post how close shawny is to taking 2 more of motor's points rbi motor 1149 shawny 1148 e.r.a. motor 4.161 dunder 4.162 addison 4.180 shawny 4.203 so right THERE motor city could EASDILY lose 4 points he put in almost all 2 start guys so he is gonna screw his e.r.a. so without me gaining a single point i could be 2 out then i have like 10-15 i could gian if my players stay hot the league is mine. no doubt past 2 days they have hit .400 with 11 homers and great e.r.a. and whoip with 2 saves and 2 wins
September 23, 200718 yr Author comment_8434 I just noticed I was once 24.5 back, 5 weeks ago was 18 back, and never have been closer than 5 and 1/2 back all season. As for my strategy, I am using 1 or 0 closers and using SMART starters not all 2 start ones. Trying to keep the 10 for e.r.a. and whip in sight. I also have many speed guys and hot hitters for average and steals.
September 24, 200718 yr Author comment_8435 Well today was a horrible day for about all players other than a few starters, a few closers, and Loney. Not much else good happened. So I got 0 homers and batted .200, but the guys I am chasing in homers got 0,1,1 homers. I lost half a average percentage point. Sigh. So I am further behind in average now. Shawny gained motor city's rbi point though so I am actually closer to the top instead of further back. And Maine got me 9 k's to inch a little firther ahead in k's. It sucks that it's the last werek because some stars get rested. I am even tempted to waive Dunn because he hasn't been playing much and there are a couple left handers pitching against the reds this upcoming week. But I have to somehow gain homers. Anyway so I am 5 points out with a week to go now. I have never been clsoer than 5 starting any week this season.

September 26, 200718 yr Author comment_8440 Sigh. I am frustrated. My 3 pitchers each gave up 4 earned runs. I lost a whip point. But overall I am currently 6 out with the top guy close to losing about that many points. HOWEVER now someone else jumped ahead of me and is 3 and 1/2 out. Pretty much I need need NEED my 3 starters tomorrow to excel in e.r.a. and whip and if they ALL three won and did good I COULD gain 3 points just from them. I got a save from Hoffman to go 2 up on the jerk in saves. I had a HORRIBLE average and only 1 homer and 1 steal, but the 1 steal was enough to gain on both teams and I still can gain 3 average points also. Bottom line: Rest of thee way I need good pitching AND good hitting and I need the top guy to suck in e.r.a. and whip and rbis.
September 30, 200718 yr Author comment_8444 I won zero leagues for the first time in 10 years. But I was in the race until an hour or so ago. Technically it is stil mathematically possible, but I doubt I will get 3 steals, 2 homers, hit .500, and this pitcher do great for another team to cause me to gain enough. I was still feeling in it enough tio stay up the past 18 or so hours to see how it went though. My team fell apart totally. If it had done GREAT today I would have most likely come back from 8 and 1/2 down to win.

If tomorrow's game counts I could get within possibly 2 or in fact possibly even tie for first if miraculously matsui were to have 4 steals. lol The closest i got this week i believe was 3 and 1/2 out and I never was closer all year. So i barely fell short do to HORRIBLE performance the final 2 weeeks. HORRIBLE.
