The Game Manhunt 2, which allows players to enact detailed murder scenes ahs been banned in the UK and may have edited content to be allowed in the U.S. the last I hears. Whata re your opinions on censorhip in this situation?

In some cases I agree adults should be allowed to make their own decisions, but in this case I agree with the UK board that banned the game. Not only will children find a way to get the game, but I personally believe detailed murder enactment crosses the line of what should be allowed to be choosable by the public.

When someone says "let people decide for themselves what is ok for themselves"... that argument doesn't float with me honestly. Because 1. there is a lot of proof that violent material has led to copycat incidents in real life so it can't be said that it "will only hurt themselves and not others if it's harmful" and also 2. like I said earlier... people who should not legally be able to make a decision on it would be able to find a way to purchase the game also.
