August 15, 200520 yr comment_1295 I have actually never played a final fantasy game for some reason. Only ones I could have played were NES/SNES though since I never owned other systems which had final fantasy games.
August 15, 200520 yr Author comment_1299 Go get an emulator and download the NES/SNES FF's. (FFs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6). You won't find the original versions of 2 and 3 anywhere else but on an emulator.
August 15, 200520 yr comment_1301 Even the very first one (for NES) still costs $30+ used from most places while other NES games you can get for $5 or less usually.
August 15, 200520 yr Author comment_1303 That's because it was probably the most popular NES game. It was the first RPG in North America.
August 15, 200520 yr comment_1307 should I play it? Oh did the GBA cartridge ever get released which ahd the first 2? If not, when does it? i could get that and play them via GBP.
August 15, 200520 yr Author comment_1308 If you want the original, harder game, get the NES version or an emulator. If you want an easier, new-school version (with better graphics) get the GBA version. Note: Don't get trapped in the "healing/saving loop" with the old version, since you need to pay to save and heal. It can get very hard. Add. Note: Again, an emulator is the only way to get the original versions of FF2 and FF3. I'd suggest the GBA version, myself. MUCH easier to beat.
August 15, 200520 yr comment_1311 Yes and the ABR off of the YNCs are awesome... I guess. Too many acronyms.
August 15, 200520 yr comment_1312 wow why would they change it up? That is annoying. And is FF2 on the GBA actually FFIV? And I assume it is indeed already released? Wow I forrgot all about it for months now.
August 15, 200520 yr comment_1315 Jaime, you sure know a lot of video games, which i ddint think you would....
August 15, 200520 yr Author comment_1316 Yes and the ABR off of the YNCs are awesome... I guess. Too many acronyms. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What? No, Bashy, the FF2 for the GBA IS the original NES FF2, the one that was never released in America before. If you want to get FFIV, you'll have to get Final Fantasy Chronicles for PS, and if you want to play 5 and 6, you'll have to get Final Fantasy Anthologies for the same system. (I think).
