If you want the original, harder game, get the NES version or an emulator.

If you want an easier, new-school version (with better graphics) get the GBA version.

Note: Don't get trapped in the "healing/saving loop" with the old version, since you need to pay to save and heal. It can get very hard.

Add. Note: Again, an emulator is the only way to get the original versions of FF2 and FF3.

I'd suggest the GBA version, myself. MUCH easier to beat.

Yes and the ABR off of the YNCs are awesome... I guess. Too many acronyms.

What?

No, Bashy, the FF2 for the GBA IS the original NES FF2, the one that was never released in America before.

If you want to get FFIV, you'll have to get Final Fantasy Chronicles for PS, and if you want to play 5 and 6, you'll have to get Final Fantasy Anthologies for the same system. (I think).
