April 4, 200718 yr comment_7995 300 million people in this country. Of course your not alone. I am a big believer that the baseball HOF is saturated with mediocre players already. Kirby Puckett didnt deserve entry and niether did Paul Molitor to name a couple. The HOF should be for elite players only. If Canseco didnt admit that he used steroids for his ENTIRE career, he would deserve to be in. Mac should be in at some point but all he did was hit HR. He couldnt field, couldn't run, he just hit HR. He shouldnt even be mentioned in the same paragraph as players like Mantle, Mays and Aaron.
April 5, 200718 yr Author comment_8001 At one point Canseco was even a good fielder and obviously he ended with 200+ steals also. I agree if he had not admitted steroids, he should be in. But so many people hated him, they STILL claimed he did not deserve to be in even before then. I sure would love to know how Puckett deserved in ahead of him either way. He was great, but did not play enough seasons.
