In case anyone sees this some day, I want to be sure people know he did not pick Memphis to be in the sweet 16 this season. And even after most of Memphis' current games have been completed and he could see how we are doing, he then released a list of "4 teams who almost made his list" and Memphis was not on that list either. So according to this moron Memphis is not one of the 20 best teams even thoughw e are going to at the WORST get a #2 seed in the tourney and almost definitely a #1. Espn.com says we will be the MOST likely to geta #1 seed of all teams.

espn has a poll with 5 or 6 teams and asked who ahs the ebst shot at a national championship this season. We have the most votes. And in our state 84% picked us, while in Villanova's state only 67% picked them.

Memphis is so close to Duke for #1 in RPI now that if Duke loses 1 game, we will be the #1 in RPI. We now have a better strength of schedule than Duke currently.

If we win this and beat Texas next week, we have a legit shot at not losing more than another game this season or possibly 0. Of course any upset can happen at any time, but actually even INCLUDING the gonzaga and Texas games, we will NEVER be an underdog again this season until possibly some time in the NCAA tournament. Memphis wins behind Williams' 233 yards rushing. He already is the all-time NCAA leader in all purpose yards and I believe fourth all-time in NCAA history in rushing yards. yes you are. Also, Jones signs with Cubs. I have to decide on 8 players to keep in my baseball keeper league. i want to somehow sneak Liriano as a keeper. But I must select 8 now, then 2, then 2 more for a total of 12. I cant come even close to keeping him in the first 8 or even the next 2. So gotta hope he is still on my team for my final 2 keeper choices.

Well, we are 9-1 now after beating Louisiana Tech. Thanks to Carney scoring 37 and grabbing 10 boards. Another week off, so assuming they dont move someone ahead of us undeservingly, we will still be ranked #4 when we play #8 Gonzaga next week. Then less than a week after that we play Texas. Then a couple weeks later we play now ranked Tennessee.

Memphis is now officially ranked #4. We play Gonzaga in 1 week and then Texas less than 1 week after that. As espn.com says, if we remain in the top 10 after those 2 games, we will remain there all season long. And to be honest, I think we will have no trouble with either. Both are struggling and we have them both at home. We have a QUITE good chance of being ranked #1 or #2 after that Texas game.
