  1. Not everybody assumed they would win. I wanted them to but had a feeling they wouldnt. They basically ruined their entire season now. It is nothing. They once were thought of as a contender for best team ever and now will never be remembered for this season. lol It is sad though, unlike you I dont like that the coach had to deal with this as well as his son killing himself.
  2. Memphis wins 73-53.

#8 Texas beats #3 Villanova. That helps us immensely. It shows Texas is indeed a top team thus our loss to them cant be considered major. So we havent lost to any team other than top notch teams. Also it helps our RPI. Florida is having a tough time right now, as is Illinois.

umm Megan, why didnt you post your scores?

No it SHOULD say USC wins 45-41 or 45-40 because they should have scored their last possession.
  6. Nope only Memphis does.

Well hopefully she did well in the comp. I am sure it is much tougher than you would think when practicing though.
  8. You know there are 64 (actually 65) but only these 9 have a shot.
  9. http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaab/news;_ylt=Ah...v=tsn&type=lgns yep yep, we be there.

That guy has got to be crazy. Now he has some "young and dangerous" teams and Memphis isn't on eof those either. He hasn't mentioned Memphis at all in any column about good teams whatsoever and they are the #5 team in the nation.

73/100 81/100 (best in a long time.) 68/100 (was very annoyed. I knew not to try a third set when it was dark.)

On a TERRIBLE day where I kept avoiding mud and it was cold and I just couldnt get comfortable, I made 60/100. So still barely over 70% for the past 1,000 shots though.

That's cool. Usually wouldnt you wait a little longer before using a skill in a competition? When is your next competition after this one? I would personally think you should do like you said and get more used to it and confident with it, unless you just flat seem to do fine on it a huge % of the time already.
  14. Well we won by 10 to go to 14-2. Hard to keep up with all this posting on here of 1 post per 100 days.

Biggest mets deal of the winter there....
  16. Wow. He is perhaps the most well known sports doctor too. The only other I remember by name is Frank Jobe. (I think that is it)
  17. Wow, even after losing last week... look where espn.com has us in their "bracketology". Apparently #1 seed overall because not only do we have a #1, but they have us as playing the winner of the 64/65 play-in game. Unless Duke getting so close to home makes them use up their #1 for location so they then give us the worst team. Dunno exactly how they figure it. But I love it. lol
  18. Umm well Minnesota couldnt hang on to beat Wisconsin or it would have been a big win for them. It is all Megan's fault.

Corey Patterson traded to the Orioles. I am thinking this may be the year where he either does 40/30 or 30/40. May hit around .280.

78/100 77/100 72/100 I'll take 75.67% out of 300 shots in a day any day. That is over 71% of my last 900 I have made right after my first 100 was barely over 40.

Both polls were shaken a ton. We only moved down 1 spot to fifth in each poll. Luckily instead of voters blaming Memphis' loss on memphis, they instead considered it Texas being a good team and moved texas up many slots to only a few places below us now. Wisconsin is doing well and in good position in the poll now. Four of the top eleven teams have all played Memphis already. We are 2-2 against top 11 teams and 11-0 against anyone under that, including a win against cincinnati who are 13-2. Villanova and Uconn frankly shouldnt be ahead of us despite having only 1 loss. Our RPI is 3 and theirs is way lower than that. I am hoping cincy beats UCONN tonight and hopeffully Villanova loses at Texas Saturday. If both of those happen, we will be #3 next week. Actually and Duke may even lose this week to Maryland.

71/100 and 71/100 today in my 2 sets of 100.
  23. Memphis won the next 2 gamnes after the Texas loss. Wednesday: beat East Tennessee State (decent team) by 33. Today: beat Winthrop (very good team, won 26 last year, top 40 RPI team) by 10. Current record: 13-2

The teams who officially lost this week are now #2,3,4,6,7,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,18, and 19 I believe. Maybe more lower ones. In RPI Memphis only went from 2 to 3 with their loss. In schedule they went UP a lot to 3. SO if you judge by that, we should move ahead of Uconn and Villanova and maybe be Duke, Florida, Memphis for the top 3 EVEN THOUGH we lost. BUT the way I see it, they will cheat us as usual and move us to 5 or 6.
  25. So far this week #s 2,4,6,7,9,and 10 have all lost. Tomorrow it is possible 3s 1 and 3 could lose. They are both playing teams who have been ranked or are still ranked. Lower teams who lost were #s 12,13,14,and 18.
