  1. I dunno. I may get rid of the fantasy section and people post fantasy stuff only in the separate areas with everything else. Not sure.

My final 3 drafts are the 21'st, 26'th, and 28'th.

I ended up doing many brackets: AOL--- 26 times CBS--- 2 times FOX--- 1 time local one--- 1 time I believe that is all. So I did 30 brackets. I will tell my official one later where someone cant dumbly copy it exactly then get half my million bucks. edit: I did 1 more. So... I guess I ended up doing 31 or 32. Shoulda done 33 for a lucky #, but I am sick of feeling those out!

I added 21 games for the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Pay close attention to the spreads, odds, and favored teams. Also different cutoff times. MOST games I have as a pick 'em where there is no point spread. HOWEVER, i took a few games and made them different: 1. ALL #1 games I put the home team as a favorite by 1 point. These should be easy wins, HOWEVER notice I have them at 10:1 odds. Thus if you pick home team you get 1 times your bet. But if you feel lucky and want to pick a #1 to be upset for the first time in history and it happens you would get 10 times the bet back. 2. Since everyone says air force shouldnt be in, if you pick them tobeat Illinois and they do it, you get 20 times your bet back. 3. I did the Texas game also at 10:1 odds. I could change some of those to 20:1 since they are so unlikely, but since it is me and Aaron I think I will leave it as is. No point with us getting shots at tons of free points when nobody else is ehre to try for them also! 4. I did 5:1 odds for Tennessee winning by 7. 5. Remember dont bet on any event more than once. I bet 100 each on 3 games. I hate to go nuts on them when I am admin. I am tempted to toss in some on that Illinois game just for a chance at winning 2,000 on that one. I may allow larger bets later, but nobody is freakin here! If Aaron hadnt lost so much in casino I probably wouldnt even have these there. lol
  5. South Korea beat Japan 2-1 so if Clemens can help the U.S. win Thursday then the U.S. will be in the semi-finals. Had this not taken place, U.S. would have been eliminated. And apparently the number of runs mattered also??? I dont know why, but apparently if it was a high scoring Japan win, U.S. would stay in... but if it was a low scoring Japan win, U.S. would have been out. Makes no sense in my opinion. lol

Mark Prior's shoulder is hurt and he is going to a specialist. Benirez had a cortisone shot in his knee. Great. When I draft him.

This can be a thread for injuries to players which would actually affect fantasy owners. No need to tell the lesser ones. Just key ones really. The latest 2 are Johnny Damon and Derek Lee. And Lee has had such great stats I was going to change my mind on not drafting him this season. But so much for that. A shoulder problem could be a fairly big deal.

Just letting you know that same guy you mentioned showed his bracket on CBS and it has Memphis going to the national championship game and losing to UCONN. They showed 5 expert brackets and 1 other also had us in the national championship game losing to UCONN. I would be mighty happy if that happens. Of coruse would rather actually win it though.

Wow, how tiring! I filled out 15 brackets. I picked Memphis to win it all in 14 of them. usually I vary them more. Maybe I will do mroe tomorrow. I dunno. I can do 10 for each aol name, 5 for 1 of their contests and 5 for theother. So on other usernames i could do like 34 more I think. But it is so tiring I may just not.

I can set us up a bracket pool thingy on sportsline, but I bet nobody will do it but me as usual for here. So far on verious places I have joined like 5 contests. I may join with each AOL sn I have also. I will probably get every pick right if you ON SOME bracket or another, but the prob is it proabbly wont all eb on the same brackety contest! Didnt do espn though because the idiots have it where I cant even log in because of changing my pw back when I tried to log into FLB and the new pw didnt even work either back then. They are stupid all around on that site.

took care of what problem? ANyway I moved them to the off-topic topic, I didnt delete them. I said I just didnt want them in a feature topic. Although trust me admins troll me on other sites then punish me for it, so if I did want to do that i would be no different than them. I just dont like doing that if I can help it.
  13. Jason replied to Jason's topic in Other Sports
Exactly. And we can't force them to. So not much either of us can do unless one of us happens to run across new people to ask to come here. Anyway it's hard to rush to doing anything someone suggests when they are rude to me everywhere but the forum. If you were some random person, it would not go along with forum issues.

I started to add tonight's but figured nobody would use it, just like usual when I go to trouble. I may just put some games. Or maybe I will put all. Then also have some bracket people can do. But with only you and me caring about it, I am not doing this huge bracket thing wherre people win tons of points etc when nobody else even cares enough to do it. Features cant really be popular when nobody uses them. And when I do add them you don't use them anywya.
  15. I heard a necessary part of the Colts is gone.
  16. Already everyone saying Memphis will be beat quick. Vitale has us going to elite 8 and everyone else has us losing in sweet 16. Some even say we could lose the FIRST GAME. What a shocker they set us up with a good 16 seed. There are only 5 of the top 25 scorers in the nation in the ncaa tournament and 1 is on oral roberts!
  17. I will post the brackets later. Memphis indeed got a #1 seedand our first game is at 3 P.M. Friday. I think that is ET actually, but maybe CT.

Ohio State just lost. The CBS people said that this loss almost certainly should have Memphis as the final #1.
  19. Jason replied to Jason's topic in Basketball
Less than an hour until they announce the field and 1 of the 2 teams that could have taken the #1 from us, Texas, is about to lose. And Ohio State is in a close game and also they went against waht the committee themselves said by doing a bad non-conference schedule.
  20. Look at how many states say Memphis will be the other #1 seed. And in Michigan we are only 1% behind in voting and we also are winning in international voting. Out of the 50 states we have the most votes in 45 of them. But I have a feeling the people deciding this will backstab us as usual.

My first big money team: C- Varitek snd Pudge 1B- Berkman, Konerko, and Sweeney 2B- Giles and Freel 3B- Atkins SS- Michael young OF- Andruw, Vernon, Drew, Delmon Young. (then berkman and freel qualify also) SP- Santana, Peavy, Mulder, Clemens, Mussina, Penny RP- Benitez, Foulke, Retisma
  22. Jason replied to Jason's topic in Basketball
Oh and btw, we are 19-1 our last 20 games. Find me another doing that. And when people say yeah but you are in c-usa, well I just looked and out of those 20 games, 5-7 were against teams who are going to the NCAA tournament. edit: sigh.... ohio state won by 1 point. If they give them the #1 it is riduclous. Like I said they ahve only beat 1 team CURRENTLY in the top 25.
  23. Jason replied to Jason's topic in Basketball
He's a moron apparently. Conference means zippo because the teams in good conferences played mostly terrible non-conference schedules. We played the #2 toughest non-conf schedule in the country. So it all evens out. And we will finish either #2, #3, or #4 in RPI also which takes into account difficulty from ALL games, so it is BS if they think our conference should keep us form it. Add to that we are the only team with 30 wins and we have a lot of wins against top teams. I think it was 10 or 11 wins we have against top 58 teams which may be top 50 when RPI is updated actually. Other teams dont have that many. Ohio State has only beat 1 team in the CURRENT top 25. WE have beat 4 of them. edit: as an fyi.... the final #1 that moron has listed is in a 4 point game at half-time, was just punished yesterday and had to take a final four banner down and not count their tournament wins form a 3 year period, AND on CBS they said their championship game would be too late tomorrow to factor into the seeding decisions and since they have to win their tourney to have any shot of taking ours, they probably cant do it.
  24. Jason replied to Jason's topic in Basketball
Almost everyone says we wrapped up the #1 seed now. Some think we may not be the West one now also. edit: we are the main picture on the front of espn.com, not just their bball page.

http://web1.ncaa.org/app_data/weeklyrpi/rpi1.html now shows LOSING last week to UAB still moved us UP in RPI from #6 to #4. Now RPI teams #2 and #3 have lost THIS week. That MAY be enough to move us to #2 in RPI! They are going to ahve a mighty MIGHTY tough time denying us #1 in minneapolis or atlanta regionals IF WE WIN tomorrow. And even if we LOSE we deserve a #1 out west! We play a ranked team tomorrow morning! So our RPI will only get BETTER. If LOSING to them last week pushed our RPI up then BEATING them will only move us up even more. Especially with the 2 teams ahead of us losing!
