I personally think the starting pitching is beyond above average. Barring injuries, it will likely get the 8-10 in all 4 starting categories (possibly even several 10's). Four or five of those starters may very well be opening day team aces. Carpenter I didnt take till round 3 or 4. Schilling K'd a lot in a rehab start a day or two ago. Like I said I only need health. Yes I indeed need a closer. And I agree the OF is not really spectacular. Although I am VERY high on drew and francoeur and mighty high on burrell. Taveras I needed due to desperation for speed. Same with Baldelli. My extra UTIL slot is the extra outfielder I had listed there. I only drafted 8 pitchers and will use FA for the ninth and a 10th to replace clemens. I think I did great, frankly. I wasnt so high on Carp but his spring e.r.a. is 0 so I am back high on him. It's not often you can get ortiz AND tejada AND soriano AND carpenter all in the same draft. I got rolen because my time ran out and I selected as it got to 0. He is so injury prone. But picked up atkins just in case. I think bradley, drew, bonderman, and kazmir are going to break out. So it is going to turn out even better than it looks.

Thanks to people drafting sleepers earlier than usual and being scared to draft Soriano, I got a great draft out of drafting seventh. C- pudge and pierzinski (kendall and lieberthall undrafted) 1B- Dunn 2B- Soriano 3B- Rolen and Atkins SS- Tejada OF- Bradley, Burrell, Drew, Francoeur, Taveras, Baldeli (gathright and patterson undrafted and may not be starters) DH- David Ortiz SP- Carpenter, Schilling, Schmidt, Bonderman, Kazmir, Clemens RP- Billy Wagner and Keith Foulke That's 4 players who have been taken in the first round of some drafts and I didnt take Clemens until close to 200 and Soriano was my fifth or sixth pick, I believe.

Berkman isnt CLOSE to cinsistant. He has been hurt now for 2 or 3 straight years at some point or another. And plus 30 homers is nothing. I can get waiver wire people who will get more than 30. Burnett's past means nothing either, because if you paid attention you would notice he has thrown a no-hitter and has had VERY huge strikeput games. Just because it hasn't lasted a whole season doesnt mean he wont break out and have a year better than a Santana.

For one thing they arent ever on here much. But oooooh well. Hopefully some day i can figure out how to make things better.

Now someoen offered me hurt burnett and ALou for Berkman. It is actually kind of tempting though because if Burnett does get fine he is surely worth berkman. Doubt I will do it though.

I saw an interview with Redick and he actually seems pretty cool. Also he has a tatToo referring to a Bible verse. (Joshua 1:9) I have been kind of hoping Duke and Memphis make the final 4 where we play each other anyway. but I don't want Duke winning, obviously. I have liked them more this year than most years though.

The end. I am sure he will end up playing, but I hope he stays on the DQ list and luckily I didnt draft him this year.

Wow, we are only 6 and 1/2 point favorites against a #13 seed. Meanwhile Duke and UCONN are that big of favorites against great teams. They sure don't like considering us on those guys' level! I hope we do win the national championship by having to beat Duke or Texas and then UCONN.

You're so annoying. Last year you never shut your mouth about how great Benson was going to be because of the mets' pitching coach. And now with Leo in Baltimore he has more shot at it this year than last with the failure mets coach who had them all underperforming last year. How good my roster is has NOTHING to do with who is AVAILABLE. I drafted Clemens and Need to obviously get a new starter to put in his place. Bedard has been ROCKED. I dont control who is on free agency. So in your world, I should leave an inactive starter in instead of those guys, right? And Wily Mo is the Pena, but now since he wont even be a starter, so much for that idea.

Yeah but standing on it is one thing, but I dunno how you do a flip on it. I could see the jumps being learned actually. I dunno, it just seems so difficult.

I am having bad luck. Now in my next draft, I have the #7 pick. Last year I got a lot of 1's, 2's, and 3's, and now this year I have all these medium picks.

I am getting so sick of this nonsense. All 3 espn people on college gameday said memphis will lose to UCLA in elite 8. Right after they were saying that memphis and florida have been the most impressive teams the first weekend! And one of them said UCLA will win "no doubt about it" or something like that. Maybe we will or maybe we won't, but what IDIOTS to pretend they know! The same people who did NOT pick these other teams to make it this far and who said kentucky had "no shot" against UCONN then they nearly lost. And the IDIOTS want UCONN to win so bad nothing wavers them. They freakin actually had the idiocy to say "uconn will win it all, they are just too high right now" wtf??????????????? Hafner is having a great season. Well I give crazy amounts for arod too as long as I feel like I am deep enough to deal off a few. I personally would like to hang on to arod though so I am not sure if I would deal him. rj and haffner for arod alone is a good deal for him though and would possibly be smart. But if you need an OFer, hafner isnt eligible there is he?

lol The name of the league I made on CBS in my expensive league is welcome to the jungle and someone joined it and named his team paradise city. He is in another of my leagues too. My league finally filled. Pretty nice. Still over a week from draft day and I managed to fill an expensive one. Now my last decision is whether to get in this other expensive one or stay where I'm at for my last team.

No prob. Hopefully it is right now or close. Sorry. I will make totally sure next time. After this tourney I may not use it as often until a lot of people use it, but wow then it is going to be a pain keeping up with.

I looked at your total before doing anything and then typed it out on trillian to have as a reference to see what it should end up at. It was off by 500 or 600, I forget which. But then I added the 300 for WS. when I realized it didnt pay that out. For the push game it doesnt add anything back. That's just how it's set. But I will at least add the 100 because that was all a mess. I really wasnt thinking when I made it a 1 point favorite. I just assumed they would lose or win by more than 1 to begin with. lol So I dont know what the deal is. You may have just remembered the points incorrectly. Because I am constantly thinking I myself have more than I do. Either that or something weird is making them disappear. Now I have to take care of your double bets too. sigh. Now Memphis plays the #13 thanks to them beating Pitt. Ss long as we play DECENTLY hard, we would win that and then only have 1 tough opponent to beat to get to Final Four. It would be UCLA or Gonzaga. But as has been shown, any team could win. So we NEED to not overlook Bradley.

I am going to be mad if they have stupid crap going across the screwen for it raining later today. We arent supposed to have thunderstorms, but we may have heavy rain and the idiots will probably put all this crap on there ruining the picture! I also will be mad if we dont win by 10+. We are favored by 8. I am nervous! I know nobody can beat us unless we take them lightly and dont try our best. But what if we indeed do that soon? I want to at least have a SHOT at the final 4. We havent even got to play a top team in the tournament yet. I am kind of hoping Bradley beats Pitt where if we do win today we will eb favored for the next game also! Then have 3 tough games afterwards. One prediction I have for today is that we will shoot free throws well. Last game we sucked and usually when that happens we make a ton of them the next game! Even though it says on "your bets" that the Wichita game didnt pay out, I added those 300 myself to both of us. I dont know what happened. Maybe I accidentally put it as Tennessee winning. Anyway so it was 200 for the winnings plus the 100 bet back. So the only issue now is it didnt pay you for the LSU game becaue they won by 1 and it has to be MORE than the spread to count as a win. Although most games I had as 0 spread and only did that as a 1 point spread where it would open up a big payment for underdog betting. Hmm so I wonder if it would have paid out to people betting for texas a&m. Nobody bet on them to begin with although I thought about it.
