The Rockies first base coach, Glenallen Hill, is wearing a helmet now after seeing that another coach died from being hit by a line drive Sunday in a minor league game in Arkansas. I liked Glenallen Hill. He was a good player. I didn't even realize he was a coach.

Tle all-star games kind of get boring to me now becuase there never seems to be much action in them. Also I was thinking.... it really makes no sense to have an all-star game half way through a season. A lot of guys' final numbers will be so different that the roster would be totally different at the end of the season. I guess considering how long the season is, it still is a huge deal to have great numbers at this point too, however.

I always thought it was weird that players who would be hitting a lot of 3's in a game could not hit free throws, but: 51/100 free throws 6/10 on 3-pointers
