My latest draft was crap. I dumbly took utley with the #8 pick even though I think he is very overrated.

Well apparently these stats count nowhere. So I'm glad I own no red sox or A's other than hurt beckett, varitek, and drew thatw ay I can root for ortiz and others to explode and waste stats for their owners. What sucks is one day after they said Beckett pitched good NOW theys ay he is porobably going to the DL. So the cards are already stacked against me in my first league with both Beckett and Escobar hurt.

When in the world is the first REAL game of 2008? CBS' site is confusing. It says games are played Tuesday and Wednesday morning in Japan and is acting as if they are real games. But then it says the season starts March 30'th! Either way this is the first year I EVER remember the season starting on a weekend OTHER than college basketball's final four weekend. Every year Opening Day itself is the exact same date as the National Championship. This year opening day is the day after the Elite Eight is completed!

#4 position in final draft. Better than the others anyway. So I have drafts tonight and tomorrow night. I see Sheets and Liriano are going around 11'th round. I need to remember that, as both are going to be great. Liriano pitched great yesterday apparently.

I am getting the most horrible draft positions. First ninth, now eighth. That's a big disadvantega right from the start! Arod and Santana are big names that just can't be equaled. I even think reyes, utley, etc... are no better than the bottom of the first round picks, but the best pitcher and best hitter are both usually way above all others at their position.

Oh yeah Saito is my other clsoer. I forgot who it was. He is going to pile up the saves. Going to be nice having both NY closers and Saito. Anyway someone offered me jeter/ichiro/weeks for soriano alone. But I still think I won't do it becuase I already have a ton of .300 hitters and I wouldn't even gain more than maybe 10 steals out of it. Jeter didn't get drafted until I think the 8th round!

Hmm well I was ready to pull the trigger, but then I started thinking it wouldn't be the end of the world if I keep my 4 studs to build up saves and then can get oliver or better later. Although I am not sure if I like having a Coors pitcher. I would comment on your 2 drafts, but ANNOYINGLY blog cuts off half of what you say and even buttons in low resolutions. And I have told the blog person for a year or more and he always marks it as "flagged for futre version" instead of just FIXING it which shouldsn't be hard at all. I don't do good with skinning so I am not sure if I can figure it out myself. So commenting on them here. I think the auto one worked out well. Also why did you draft upton in round 2, but in another of your entries you said upton was a mistake pick and it was worse than second round in that one.

Ended up buying another cbs team becuase the only $1,000 fanball draft is in a couple of days (a day that I already have a draft) and isn't full. The only other has only like 1 or 2 members in it. Only 1 good cbs one was left and it has this guy who was a jerk to me in a past league, but oh well. I joined anyway and he can leave if he wants, but I am not going to. I like cbs' setup. I do wish I was doing weekly leagues though. I am doing 2 daily and 1 weekly.

I have it in that blog. I need to go rest, but anyway it's zambrano, beckett, hurt escobar, and there was one other good pitcher, but I forget who at the moment. Basically if escobar is healthy in May I would still only have 4 good ones I think. Oh Brett Myers is the other.

I want more opinion than that. We drafted the two almost at the same exact time and I own corpas, rivera, wagner, and another top closer whose name is escaping me, but posted it in my blog.

I like that this site gives a free team PLUS money back to the second place finisher and a free team to the third place winner also. I kind of wish I had done a couple of these. Then I would only have to worry with 2 leagues and it's a very good chance I would finish third or above in any of these leagues. Now I already did my first cbs draft though (blog entry about it) and although I can canel my other cbs team I am unsure how fun fanball.com's will be. The rules link does not even work so I have no clue about rules yet and also I like the layout of the cbs site and being able to go to all teams at once. If I knew I would win every league, cbs is the way to go since it has higher payouts, but more security is in fanball's since you can finish second and get more than your entry fee back.

lol right as cbs said Wood will probably be the cubs closer, he now has back spasms. I thought about drafting only 2 closers and then waiting until the end of the draft to get wood, marmol, or this other guy who was just named closer... but instead I drafted 4 great ones. Now I will probably try to trade Corpas and one of the others at some point and then find me a cheap one down the road.

Like a team HAS TO sign that cheater. lol They sure didn't investigate into why Canseco wasn't signed when his final season he hit near .300 with almost 20 homers and even a few steasls. In half a season he did that, so a full season he still had potential for .300 with 35 homers.

Man my draft is tonight and I keep forgetting about it and am not prepared. I guess there are no maximum limits. Only minimums. So people can add and drop pitchers eaCH day. How annoying! Now 2 start pitchers won't matter anymore really though becuasee you have to hold on to them so it wouldn't make sense. I am gonna have to learn a new way of doing things. Ahhhhh. If there were any leagues close to fulkl I would change my other to weeekly.

55/100 Shows how great it is to rush shots. I made 2 shots from 33 feet out though. But those were out of my first 9 then I msised 11 straight to finish 2 for 30 on those. I think 33 feet is further than half court, but not totally sure.

Memphis just received the Second #1 seed of the NCAA Tournament. Only UNC got a better #1. I think it's pretty fair. If UNC had lost today, I think Memphis should have got it.

Memphis is officially in the NCAA Tournament, as they won by 27 points in their conference championship game today to take their record to 33-1.
