Wang out until September. I left him in my weekly lineup, which made no sense.

Only June and I am in abd bad shape. The best I am doing in ANY league is close to 30 points out. In one league II am ahead of 4 teams and still am close to 40 back. lol

On all three teams I dropped Penny for Chase Headley. Probably a mistake, but I have tot ake some chances and now Penny's shoulder hurts.

In a league where I have great average and power, I passed up Taveras onw aivers a few days ago and now he stole 5 tonight.

Just curious as to where I said to waive Oliver Perez? The only post I can find is where I stated what I did with Oliver. Nothing telling you or advising you to do the same. I appreciate the respect your showing me by following my lead but what I can find is multiple posts regarding how bad I am this year in FLB. I asked for advice and your response was that he was a FA everywhere and that you waived him everywhere. That means you were suggesting to drop him. Now rj and penny had terrible startsd too and myers has gone back to being bad. I am stuck with a lot of underperforming pitchers because I can't just waive guys who were drafted in the first 10 roudns.

Great. Now since you said to waive Oliver he has had two great starts in a row and I can't find a way to add him back. I would have to waive isringhausen and in one league I need isringhausen.

Victor Martinez out for 6 weeks.

Someone actually waived putz in one league, but it's the weekly league where for some reason there are always free agent clsoers. weird becuase in other leagues there are never any. Also percival was waived in that league.

Hard to go after Soriano in daily leagues because roster slots are so necessary for active players. I missed morrow everywhere because I was sleeping. But apparently he will only close for a few days.

More Top Memphis Athletes
A lot of people were tlaking down University OF Memphis' athletics as a whole back when the basketball team was #1 and claimed that was all they had. Well I already mentioned the cheerleaders and dance teams. Of course the basketball team is always great now. Well now 4 players from U of M were selected in major league baseball's amateur draft and several students are near the top in the nation in shot put and hammer throw. http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2008/...hampionships-a/ The women's basketball team used to be good also and the football team has been to.... I think 4 bowl games in the past 5 years.

My only team that had much chance has just been totally destroyed. Within a 24 hour period I just lost Pujols for 3-4 weeks and Alfonso Soriano for 6 weeks.

11 for 26 with 4 homers and 10 batted in for the past 7 games for Nick Swisher. As usual my timign was horrid. I had picked him up for only 1 day lastw eek and then dropped him again and now someone had him for today. I also passed up Crede the day before he had his first of two 2 homer games. Meanwhile I picked up Thome instead and he is not doing very much. I also have weeks in for this entire week in weekly league and he is DLed. I picked up jose lopez because he is doing good, but he may be cold by the time next week rolls around.

I have so many active injured players it's not even funny. And I just keep them there day after day and I guess I should have done something different, but it's too hard. I can't waive furcal or figgins or ortiz obviously! Maybe I should waive issringhaussen and ankiel. Then the mariners catcher and varitek are doing bad too. I am in such a mess and don't know how to win any this year.

Yes. You always take him and mentioned him this season. Harden, who peoiple told me to drop, keeps having great starts. I'm really tired of these games though like I've said. I started to pick up crede after his FIRST homer in this string and I decided not to and then he homered 4 times the next 2 days and almost got one today already.

Johnson Wins Championship
Well Shawn Johnson won agajin. Nationals, championship, visa, whatever you want to call it.... lol Nastia did good again also.

Big Brown = Big Bust
Well Big Brown didn't come close to winning the final leg of the triple crown in horse racing.

And? You still drafted him.

Mark Worrell Homers In First AB
Mark Worrell homered in his first major league at-bat tonight. What makes it even more interesting? 1. He is a pitcher. 2. The box score does not even mention it's his first career homer. So it's probably posted here in this topic before anywhere else. edit: Yep. I beat rotoworld. Also notice how many mistakes they make. They misspelled the word "more" and they said he's bgeen a good MAJOR league reliever right after they mentioned he was making his major league debut. lol http://rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/p...MLB&id=4399

Vernon Wells will be back next week. I could have sworn he was a FA in all of my leagues, but I only got him in my weekly league which I am already out of contention in. Maybe somehow I will get back in that race though. I did pick up Bruce, Ludwick, Vernon, Upton, am near the top in saves, and have some of my studs I have for other leagues also. But Wang is doing so terrible I'm not sure what to do there anymore.

*Free Throws*
lmao the heat must be getting to me because I lost count again. I think I made 52/100. It was so pathetic. I finally just started throwing them up and not caring. Thus why I only made 20 of the final 50.

I'm just getting dumb. I really shouldn't have used a #1 on braves closer. But it does give me 6 closers. Three are soriano, borowski, and issringhaussen, but then the three studs in wagner, saito, and rivera also. Oh and that guy Myers you said to waive... luckily I didn't listen. I have been using him on all three teams and his last two starts he has had close to 20 k's and yesterday gave up one single hit in 7 and 1/3 innings.

You say Hamilton can be had easily, but someone publicly posted about what a horrible offer bedard straight up for hamilton was.

Smoltz back to DL. Soriano should now be the closer. Unfortunately I dumbly didn't pick him up when I meant to the day before (then I eventually waived oliver perez anyway so I might as well have waived him the day before for soriano). In another league he is on waivers. I am tempted to use my #1 on him.

As usual the veteran outduels the youngster. Chamberlain showed how it's done by Halladay.

Pistons Coach Fired
I think you might need to read it again sir. If jobs with past teams mattered then nobody would ever get hired other than champs. His past success with other teams is not relevant.
