I don't see how I can ever come back unfortunately. I waited too long. i see ways to gain a lot of points, but when I'm 26-31 out in all 3 leagues, I don't think it's even possible to win one of them. In one league the top guy only has like 70 points and STILL I am 30 out! Wish I had started trading sooner. Now my only hope is a miracle or buy another team which must be done VERY soon or it can't be done. So I guess I wasted money this year.

No, but I am trying to get a 7 or 8 in them. When you're 30 points out in every league, you have to get desperate.

I started following this in the fifth inning in another topic on here and it indeed came true. The L.A. Dodgers have just won a game while being no-hit. I don't think it will technically count as a no-hitter, however, because the Angels so happened to be the visiting team and so it was an 8 inning no-no. Very interesting game. edit: So that is the story.

Jerred Weaver has a no-hitter through 5 innings and is losing. Could he be another Hawkins? We shall see.

Your friend Butler is being called up. I used Padilla and he got rocked. Every day seems to have something go horribly wrong. I'm just not going to win any more leagues ever because so many people add and drop pitchers day after day to where people are forced to do it since cbs has no limits and then I get burned by guys like francis and padilla.

Pierre for Hoffman was vetoed yet nobody has protested taveras for hoffman. No clue what they are thinking. Don't know if they think taveras is better or worse.

Not really. Someone made fun of my team and said I have sucky players in and one example he gave was gordon. Gordon has eben better lately and tonight he has 1 homer, but otherwise he isn't doing that great. There's no chance. I guess I just need to stop doing flb leagues. Whether it's veterans or young guys, I always seem to get the duds now. Bruce, gordon, headley, ludwick, and many other young guys just plain are doing nothing. Myers and rj cost me a lot. Keeping hurt guys in cost me. I am way behind. In one league I am 140 rbis behind the top guy.

I give up. My closest team is 26 out. This season is just going to have to be a no winner. Don't really want to pay money on another team when it's stressful watching all of my moves backfire. ANy advice for a midseason league if I choose to get another team? Anyone you think will explode second half? I really don't know if I should because it's tough knowing where everyone will be drafted and so I may totally mess up. But all of my current teams are way behind and I don't want to go home empty handed, s to speak.

I've always rooted against the Grizzlies. I thought Love was a great pick. Now that they TRADED HIM AND MIKE MILLER BOTH in a deal to get o.j. mayo, I am going to absolutely root for them to lose every game. They're ridiculous. They needed a big man so they draft one and then trade him for BIG TIME overrated mayo????? And Miller is a GREAT player and is GREAT in the community. This organization has the crappiest decision makers I have ever witnessed. Also although I kind of rooted for cdr not to be drafted until round 2 to show him he messed up by staying in the draf, that was kind of ridiculous too. I thought it was funny Dorsey was drafted first though. lol I was more excited about Dorsey than anything else in the draft really. You can go watch cdr play I guess since the nets took him. I bet he won't even start though which is another reason he's messed up by having to be drafted so low. He should have stayed in school when projections had him down so low in round 1. I knew it was possible he could slip to round 2.

I dropped huff saince he kept not playing at NL fields and of course they then started using him and he exploded today. Is it worth a #4 to pick him back up?

And now they told me there was "nothing they could do" and "sorry for the inconvenience". So far the other deal is passing, but it is only 1 vote shy of being held up. Also I asked owners to protest this one and only 3 have done that thus far also. And my third trade DOES have 4 protests, pierre for hoffman.

lmao. After this comment, don't ever deny that I have horrible luck this year. Look what deal I accidentally accepted. I did NOT EVEN CLICK THE SUBMIT BUTTON. I was typing a response saying I did NOT WANT IT and I hit a key that apparently accepted the deal. Luckily I had already traded jd drew for saito yesterday so if it does NOT get protested then this one will fail even if I can;t get this one protested.

That is from Bonds' agent. lol How people keep claiming he showed how great he is last season baffles me. He got less than 30 homers and not even 70 runs batted in. He constantly sat out games and his average was way down.

I agree, but I may have to just deal taveras anyway. I don't know why I continue trying. Remember I got Texiera a day after he hit his 3 homers? Now I got rid of david wright and 3 days later he has 2 homers. edit: actually I did deal pierre instead. Pierre was rated much much higher to start the season and has a higher average on the year though. But I just felt like taveras will score more runs the rest of the way and raise his average. I am making horrible decisions though this year so now Pierre may be the one to get hot.

Now I had santana and felix both dueling today and so neither is going to win since felix got hurt. It gets old even trying when this many things go wrong with the teams.

lol my luck resumes. The first day I have johan santana this year he just gave up a grand slam to felix hernandez of all players. At least all runs were unearned and I own king felix on the same team santana is on though.
