Halladay Throws Perfect Game
Roy Halladay threw a perfect game to make this the first season in modern baseball where two perfect games were hurles. I remember in his first ever start I was a Jays fan and he almost threw a no-hitter. I think the first hit was in the ninth.

Pacific Rim Impressions
U.S. women destroyed all other teams at the Pacific Rim competition. I've thought for a while now that rebecca Bross is the best gymnast and they mentioned also that she may be the third straight WOGA girl to win an Olympics All Around gold. The most impressive junior was Jordyn Wieber. And she will be old enough for the Olympics also.

Shawn Johnson In 2012
Shawn Johnson is going to train in hopes of being in the 2012 Olympic Games in London. I thought after you get money, you can't be considered an amateur anymore. But I guess it's just that you aren't an amateur if you go to college and do gymnastics? Not sure.

U.S. Wins Bronze For 2000
The U.S. women have been given the bronze medal for the 2000 games as it was stripped from China for using underage gymnasts. http://news.yahoo.co...nderage_gymnast Of course most everyone figures they did the same thing in 2008 so hopefully eventually that gold goes to the U.S. also and other individual medals lost to them.

Tournament Changes
They changed their mind and it will have 68 teams instead of 65 or 96. Won't be too hard to add that to the sports betting system, but it will be in annoying fashion... because basically since I've already done other tournaments and the coding with picks named pick1, pick2, pick3, etc... the easiestw ay to do this would be to have these new three games be picks with high numbers wheras the other playin game is pick1. So the picks will be stored very dodly in the database, but it's probably better than having to edit/changs things. And I have to leave the 64 and 65 formats as options where the results will show properly for past tournaments.

Jimenez Tosses No No
Ubaldo Jimenez of the Rockies threw a no hitter. Also where I don't have to waste time making a new topic... the cardinals and mets played a 20 inning game.

2010 Fantasy Predictions
Yeah you get points for posting, writing reviews, winning at betting, etc... In the database it has all points combined, but also separate totals where you can tell which points came from doing what. Eh that reminds me I should make a separate column for only posting points in the database that way if someone ever says their point total didn't change properly it would be easier to tell if there's a problem. Anyway. You'll get back more points on those contests than the join fee anyway if you just get a few games right. You get points per correct pick and then the jackpot to the overall winner. My fantasy baseball teams went from both in first to both double digit points behind in one day. lol

Wow I somehow forgot what I shot a few days ago. lol Seems like it was 66, 78, 74, but now I can't even remember. I usually remember even if I'm not trying to.

2010 Fantasy Predictions
Some people kept claiming Nick Johnson will do good this year, but I doubt it. Well both of my teams are in first place right now as far as fantasy teams go.

Baby McNabb Traded
I knew McNabb was traded to the Redskins, but not until now did I realize that he basically forced them to either keep him or trade him to only that team and that last year he got mad at being benched during a game and I think he got money out of it. I don't even follow the NFL much. I know who he is, but didn't notice the incident from last year.

Tournament Changes
The stupid NCAA is almost decided they will have 96 teams in the NCAA Tournament from now on. Pathetic. They're so greedy they would ruin the sprot for exatra money. And now I have to redo sports betting system to allow 96 teams. Also the NCAA runs the NIT currently and I just found out there is no longer any consolation game! So I spent time adding that feature for nothing. All a mess.

Kentucky Loses
Calipari and Kentucky couldn't even get the most talented team to the final four. They lose to a team whose point guard fractured his foot this week and couldn't play.

Your 2010 Drafts
I am likely only doing two teams this year. Here's team 1. I picked Nyjer several rounds earlier than I should have. Even Bourn was still sitting there and I guess it makes no sense to take Nyjer as a cheaper Bourn when Bourn is still there. lol But also Bourn is injured. I accidentally auto picked Webb, but it was in round 19, so not so horrible to risk him there. I didn't realize until typing this I drafted 5 clsoers... Two are injured, one is struggling, and the other two aren't great. So maybe good I did. But maybe should have refrained from one of the first ones and got another position player. Also I drafted Padilla for his 2 start opening week and will then dump him. C- McCann (5) C- Doumit (16) 1B- Fielder (1) 1B- Gonzalez (3) 1B- Votto (7) 2B- Cano (4) 2B- Weeks (13) 3B- Wright (2) SS- Theriot (22) OF- Carlos Lee (9) OF- Quentin (10) OF- Morgan (11) OF- Bruce (14) OF- Hart (21) OF- C. Young (25) OF- Fowler (26) OF- Snider (28) P- Peavy (6) P- Hamels (8) P- Zambrano (12) P- Valverde (15) P- Jenks (17) P- Lidge (18) P- Webb (19) P- Nunez (20) P- Wade Davis (23) P- K. Wood (24) P- C. Young (27) P- Padilla (29)

2010 Fantasy Predictions
#5 draft position. Not very good. The main 4 guys willbe gone plus me having to wait 10 picks each time.

2010 Fantasy Predictions
I see CBS' writer agrees that Lee and Manny are overrated. They also think mark reynolds, granderson, heyward, posada, krod, and many others are.

2010 Fantasy Predictions
I think McCann and Peavy are undervalued and Cliff Lee and Manny Ramirez are overvalued. McCann had offseason eye surgery and is doing great this spring. I maybe would take him in round 3 or 4. Victorino and Alfonso Soriano may be steals. Andrus maybe a good buy. Beltran and Webb out a month. Weeks a good buy. bruce may be a good buy. Not sure about Liriano and David ortiz. vernon ok. Strasburg sent to minors. theriot can be had cheap. Maybe the Chris Youngs. I'm not so confident on which young guys to trust though.

2010 Fantasy Predictions
Who's overrated? Underrated? Who's going to break out? Who did great last year, but will flop this year? Who flopped last year, but will do rgeat this year? I think sizemore being ranked 29 is way too high considering some of his stats last year. I also am itnerested that Beltran is all the way down in the 100s now and even Santana is down in the 40s or 50s along with reyes. Those guys normally were taken first round. I think this year it may be best if you get to pick #10 in the draft. At #10 you could maybe get both Longoria and Kinsler or you could switch one of those out with possibly Howard, Teixeira, or Fielder. How much will it really help you to take Pujols #1 then have tow ait until all other studs are gone at pick #20? Not sure what Arod will deliver either and there's really nobody you can draft between 2 and 9 who is much better than #10. Hanley will run less and possibly not be worth taking up near the top to begin with. I say Kinsler is worth ALMOST as much and you can nab him in round 2 instead of using your first pick on him.

Custom League Settings
This is confusing. Where was this posted at originally? Anyway good points. I haven't done custom leagues though. I'm trying to get ready for my only 2 leagues I am doing this year and you won't post your great advice to help me.

Pathetic American Cup Coverage
Well Rebecca Bross won the American Cup competition. She's been the main gymnast I paid attention to since the beginning of last year so it's cool she won. However what's not cool is NBC's coverage. here locally for some reason a freakin USED CAR SHOW was on for the first 30 minutes. So that's not NBC's fault, but when it did get to the gymnastics competition THEY ONLY SHOWED Rebecca's last routine. So in a full hour all they managed to show was one routine. I know good and well they didn't show three of ehr routines in those 30 minutes the car show was on so appaently they didn't even show the whole competition. I think it was shown live so maybe things happened at weird times to where they couldn't show it all, but either way this was pretty stupid that out of an hour all you see is one routine from her and then one from another American and that's it!

Now I just saw what it meant and came here to update this because I forgot you told me. I sure didn't remember it being that. It's an interesting stat! When I said it's not useful I probably still misunderstood it. It's not TOO meaningful, but if someone always had a negative you would have to start wondering about him.

Shayla At Georgia
I've noticed for a couple weeks now that Shayla Worley is at georgia. I could have sworn she was 17 or younger even now. But really she's 19 and a freshman at georgia. She is ranked #3 in the country and has been anmed SEC freshman of the week in back to back weeks!
