Within a couple hours memphis will be on both espn and espn2. The football team on espn2 and absketball team on espn both at the same time.

I'm not one to blame the officials when my teams lose if it's not true. When we lost to Xavier it was not the officials' fault. However today the officials flat robbed memphis against georgetown. I bet they robbed us out of 12+ points and then we lose in overtime. It was horrible. Georgetown ahs physical players and yet we only had 2 free throw attempts near half time and they had like 16 or something like that????? And we actually made a higher percentage yet we lose because of that. Really the only player who played bad for us was Tyreke Evans, in my opinion. As usual Memphis is being talked down in basketball. They definitely have more holes in their team than last year, but they have some top recruits, are ranked #12 in the country and are 4-0 on the season. Their next game is the championship game of the Puerto Rico Shoot Out. It's being broadcast on espn2 at 7:30 P.M. ET Sunday evening.

Well the Finals are down to Game 6 between the Celtics and Lakers. I dislike most Boston teams so I want the Lakers to win. They would be UP 3 games to 2 games if not for the disasterous falling apart in game 4.

Wow. Talk about high expectations. The Pistons barely missed out on the NBA Finals and they immediately fire their coach? And the GM or President or w/e said they "lost three years in a row". lol Talking down performance by a team that barely missed the NBA Finals is kind of ridiculous.

Once again the Memphis Grizzlies had bad luck for the nba draft lottery. They will only get the #5 pick which is nothing compared to the top 2 this year. I expect Derrick Rose of Memphis to be the #1 pick though since the Bulls gett it and he is from Chicago and idolized Michael Jordan. Besides the #2 team wants Rose badly, so why let them have him? At worst Chicago can draft Rose and deal him to Miami for Beasley and more.

It looks quite likely that Kansas will have their national championship taken away from them. A player who had a huge game against Memphis in the National Championship game had graded changed in high school to allow him to qualify for a scholarship. Thus he should have been ineligible and the NCAA can take away all of their wins for the past 2 seasons. I doubt they will then consider Memphis the champions, but at least it would mean Memphis did the best during the season and just probably wouldn't be recognized for it. They would officially be the best team of this season.

Kansas State's Michael Beasley has announced he will go pro. It is rumored that Derrick Rose of Memphis has already hired an agent and also will go pro. UCLA's Kevin Love is going pro.

I will make an NCAA subforum later, but for now I just wanted to post a topic about the National Champions of this coming season. We had 3 guys consider going to the NBA and 1 guy did go who was going to come here, but I believe his greades werent good enough. Amare Staudemire was coming here a few years back and went pro instead and he unloaded unbelievable performances on NBA teams last season. I wish we would play Duke, North Carolina, etc. this year.
