The stupid NCAA is almost decided they will have 96 teams in the NCAA Tournament from now on. Pathetic. They're so greedy they would ruin the sprot for exatra money. And now I have to redo sports betting system to allow 96 teams. Also the NCAA runs the NIT currently and I just found out there is no longer any consolation game! So I spent time adding that feature for nothing. All a mess.

Calipari and Kentucky couldn't even get the most talented team to the final four. They lose to a team whose point guard fractured his foot this week and couldn't play.

What in the world is that stat in NBA box scores? On yahoo anyway it has that. It doesn't even tell what it is and it can't be a streak of shots or rebounds being offensive/defensive becuase the numbers don't relate and those are the stats around it so I have no clue what else it could be. Nice job by them of having a stat that isn't even explained better than having a plus and minus sign by it. lol

http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2009/aug/20/memphis-tigers-found-guilty-ncaa-must-forfeit-2007/ As usual the NCAA cheats a non-BCS school out of wins without proof of any wrong-doing.

http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2009/may/27/ncaa-alleges-major-violations-memphis-basketball-p/ The University Of Memphis may have their record 38 wins and national runner up for the 2007-2008 season status taken away from them due to Derrick Rose cheating and someone on the staff knowing he did it. Although his name is not publicly released, Derrick Rose is the only player who matches the description in the allegations letter, so it was definitely him. Basically he cheated on his SAT test and someone on staff (probably that loser Calipari) knew he did it. Not only that, but also the team let a player's friend ride the team plane for free to away games. Now THAT…

Derrick Rose scored 36 points in his first NBA playoff game. Ana amazing eprformance. I think eh turned out to be quite possibly my favorite player ever at Memphis and I would have loved so much if he would have stayed longer. Memphis is mentioend in the game summary because Rose made 2 big free throws or they would have lost this game and he of course MISSED two big free throws for Memphis (the tigers, not grizzlies obviously) last year where one make would have made us national champions. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=ys-r...o&type=lgns

http://sports.yahoo.com/top/news?slug=dw-t...o&type=lgns Dropping out of high school to go pro. Under NBA rules he can't go to the NBA, but he can play professionally elsewhere until eligible for the NBA obviously.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AuF5...p&type=lgns Chicago Bulls point guard and former Memphis point guard Derrick Rose was overwhelmingly voted the NBA rookie of the year. My favorite NBA team as a kid and teenager was the Chicago Bulls and now although I have to like the Grizzlies also, I am going to be following the Bulls again also. Rose is extraordinary. He is much more smart and mature than the average person of his age and he absolutely dominated for Memphis to end last season. In the first game of this year's NBA playoff series he played in he got within one basket of the all time rookie record for points in a playoff game.

U of M hired assistant Josh Pasner to be their next coach. At first glance it looked bad, but now almost everyone is agreing here that it was a great move. We are going to likely keep our top recruits, as Xavier Henry's dad is going to be given a position here. Arizona fans all say Pasner is rgeat and they wanted him to be hired at Arizona. He was ranked the #7 recruiter in the country for last season. Going to be strange having a head coach who is younger than I am though.

Memphis has eben horrible in their search for a new coach and have had several coaches decide to stay where they were. It's down to only no-name guys expected to be in the running. Pretty pathetic that a team who was in 4 straight sweet 16s, a national title game, and having a 137-14 record over 4 years can't even lure a good coach to come here.

Rumors have Calipari leaving Memphis to be the Kentucky coach. If it's true then goodbye to memphis' chances of ever winning the championship any time soon. Also it's funny how many people bash Calipari and Memphis and then 9,000 people on facebook make a bring calipari to kentucky group. lol

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball/ne...o&type=lgns Last eyar Kansas beat Memphis with an ineligible player. Hopefully this year we don;'t lose to another cheating team... Hopefully we win all of our games though, so first we need to beat Missouri.

Well Memphis might as well be written doewn as next eyar's national champions already. Now DeMarcus Cousins announced he is coming to Memphis. When the ratings are updated Memphis will be #1 in recruiting class for enxt year and to top that off the #1 recruit who hasn't yet commited is thinking very much about choosing Memphis. We already have the #2 recruit (Cousins), the #1/#3 recruit depending on which site's list you look at (Xavier Henry) and two junior college star players all coming! We're flat loaded.

Memphis' 1,000+ day streak of not losing a conference game continues. Tulsa was winning by 1 point with 4.5 seconds left. Memphis had to go the entire length of the court. They did it and made a layup as the buzzer sounded. Thus Memphis won 55-54 to continue thir streak. During the past three seasons COMBINED they lost 1 sole game and that one was a close loss on the road to UAB. UAB nearly beat us last year again and we play them this Saturday also. They probably would love to beat us again since they are the last conference team to get the job done.

Man this was one great game. I started watching some time in the second half... probably about half way through it or earlier and then I watched all 6 overtimes. Finally the team I wanted to win, Syracuse, pulled out the victory by 10 points in 6 OT. Just a few days ago the experts siad the #1 seeds this year will be uconn, north carolina, pittsburgh, and oklahoma. Well today uconn, pitt, and oklahoma ALL lost! North Carolina did not play. I think this should mean Memphis will get a #1 seed if they win later today and tomorrow. It wouldn't really be fair to give so many teams #1 seeds after they lost their very first conference tournament games. Since UCONN finish…

http://gotigersgo.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl.../031109aac.html Memphis' Tyreke Evans was named the cbssports.com National Freshman of the Year. Really the AP awards are all anyone pays attention to, but this shows he has a good chance at the AP one also.

Memphis flat laid it on Gonzaga. Gonzaga went on a 13-0 run in the second half, Memphis purposely did a shot clock violation at the end of the game to show respect, and STILL won by 18. That shows how ugly it was. I think this pushed Memphis up to a #2 seed now and this is an AMAZING team. They are not the same team as last year and yet I am just as happy about them! They work hard and are getting what they deserve for it by winning now 14 straight. They have perhaps the best defense in the entire country. The #4, #5, #7, #8, #9, #10, #11, and #12 teams all lost this week and Memphis was #14. So we should be in the top 10 on the next poll for the first time this s…

http://highschool.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=903780 Like they should really forfeit that game. You're not supposed to just stop playing once you get a big lead or you can get into bad shooting habits. And it's high school girls, so why make them feel bad that they achieved some goal of 100 points.

Unanimous #1 North Carolina lost to an unranked team. They've been talked up all year and people saying how great they were to be undefeated. They only had THREE games against top 100 teams and only ONE against a top 50 going into this game. Of course they were undefeated against that crappy schedule. Memphis has the #4 schedule strength in the country so far and still have at tennessee and at gonzaga to help make it even better.
