OK. Jason gave me the idea for this. For any of you that play Fantasy baseball here is a place you can ask your questions. It can be about potential trades, who to pick up, who to drop, anything that has to do with fantasy baseball. No need to go anywhere else. It can all be found here.

Anyone know of some prospects who are still in the minors? With CBS leagues being expanded (roster size) this year it's hard to find anyone worth anything on free agency so I might as well find prospects. I think I am going to pick up and stash Doumit also since there is nthing worth anything as far as active players and I stashed Smoltz in a league also.

L.A. Dodgers star Manny ramirez has eben suspended for 50 games due to a failed drug test. As past players have done he is pretending he didn't know it was a banned substance. lol It's a substance used when "coming off" of steroid cycles. I own him in 2 fantasy baseball leagues so it's going to hurt me big time.

I have always said that the baseball stadium for the memphis redbirds has got to be the best minor league stadium there is. Well Baseball America agrees, even 9 years after the stadium was built, that it is the top minor league stadium in the country.

One day away from the start of the 2009 major league baseball season. For comcast customers you get MLB extra innings free for the firstw eek of the season. Maybe on directv and dish also, but not sure about those.

Signups have begun. Looks like they're phoning it in with no changes as usual. The only change I noticed in the rules is now deadlines are 5 minutes before the first game rather than 30 minutes before. I thought it was also saying you must do 12 team leagues to win the maximum cash prizes, but I think you still win them with 10 members also.

http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=sh-s...o&type=lgns How they say he throws faster than all but one player "at any level" ever I don't know. I saw several throw that same speed over the past few years and Nolan Ryan got it up to 108 mph before, if I am not mistaken.

Have any projections as far as fantasy ordering? CBS has what i think is possibly some bad ordering. McCan only third best catcher and Sabathia rated even higher than Santana are a couple questionable ones. And still ahving Pujols as the top firstbaseman when I believe he had surgery.

Just as he cheated on his wife, arod also cheated in abseball by using steroids. Jose Canseco alluded to this also, so write down another truth by Jose. I said in the past that arod probably used them despite not "looking" like he was a user because it was well known he was good friends with Jose. I believe it was Aaron who insisted arod did not use them. I thought it was quite obvious someone who trained at Jose's house and magically beat a lot of homerun records would be a user. Another who was friends with Jose was Shawn Green and notice that Green's career fell apart also.

I thought it might be fun to see who we'd elect to the Hall of Fame if we actually had a vote. You can choose as many as 10 players or as little as 0. Please post your selections in this thread. Thanks Here are the players on this year's ballot (* indicates first time on ballot): Harold Baines *Jay Bell Bert Blyleven *David Cone Andre Dawson *Ron Gant *Mark Grace *Rickey Henderson Tommy John Don Mattingly Mark McGwire Jack Morris Dale Murphy *Jesse Orosco Dave Parker *Dan Plesac Tim Raines Jim Rice Lee Smith Alan Trammell *Greg Vaughn *Mo Vaughn *Matt Williams

Ok Ladies and Germs its that time of year. The World Series has ended, awards are about to be given out and players are filing for free agency. Its Hot Stove Baseball time. Here's the thread to use for any deals that get done, rumors you might hear or even a nice chat about how it will impact the upcoming baseball season, real or fantasy. I would imagine the big news of the off season is that the Padres are looking to deal off Jake Peavy. So far it looks like the Cubs and Braves are the front runners but one can never discount the desperate Yanks or the deep farm system of the Red Sox.

http://baseballtips.com/personalpitcher.html I wonder if that is any good or if there are any other good wiffle ball machines. I used to like playing wiffle ball as a kid and now obviously it's not exactly easy finding anyone who would play that. lol

The mets have reportedly signed krod. I don't know whether I think it's smart or stupid, but I am leaning toward stupid. While it would seem having two great closers amkes the end of their bullpen so great, the fact that wagner was nearly perfect saving games and sow as krod means that there will be tension since both will want to close.

The Phillies won Game 1 of the World Series. Hamels and Lidge finished off the Rays 3-2. If more people were at this site I was going to put each individual game up for bet. If I had done that I would have picked the phillies for game 1, rays for game 2, rays for game 3. Then "probably" rays for games 4 and 5. So in other words I am picking the Rays to win in 5 games (winning every game from now on). But my "backup" prediction is for the Phillies to win Hamels' next start, which would be game 4 I think. So bottom line: Rays will win in 5 or 6.

The 2008 playoofs have the following matchups: 1. Dodgers vs. Cubs 2. Brewers vs. Phillies 3. Red Sox vs. Angels 4. White Sox vs. Rays In day 1, the Dodgers, Phillies, and Red Sox all won. I would put some of this (and football matchups) up for betting if I knew Aaron would bet. At the moment only I make bets with the system and I do not want to simply pad my points total with nobody else trying for points. I predict the cubs, phillies, angels, and rays will win these series. I then predict Cubs vs. Angels in the World Series, with the Cubs winning it all. I am not confident on it though. And there are many good stories which could unfold. I wouldn't mind …
