I guess Aaron will be too scared to post in this, but I am thinking of doing NBFC leagues this year. They give way more payout than CBS, apparently yahoo pay leagues are no longer offered, and you can even win huge overall prizes. The only downside is there is no trading, so I have to decide if it's worth the game being a bit less fun. I just hate to pay cbs $250 for $1100 payout instead of $250 to NFBC for $2,000 payout just to be allowed to trade. Maybe I'll do some of each...

Well, I am down to one draft left and I can't decide whether to stay in an auction league or do a regular draft. I hate risking auction, so more likely to win with regular, but auction would be more fun. Too bad Aaron is too immature to answer me about it on here. Also, I had the #1 slot yesterday and couldn't decide for 30 minutes who to draft. I ended up taking Trout, but kinda think I should have taken Cabrera. I also am in a bad situation in saves in both leagues so far. Only trwo closers in each league and one league's two aren't that good.

CBS is already selling their 2011 fantasy baseball teams. Not much new. Same costs and prizes. Most same features.

Roy Halladay pitched a postseason no-hitter for his second of the season. One batter kept him from his second perfect game of the season.

Who's overrated? Underrated? Who's going to break out? Who did great last year, but will flop this year? Who flopped last year, but will do rgeat this year? I think sizemore being ranked 29 is way too high considering some of his stats last year. I also am itnerested that Beltran is all the way down in the 100s now and even Santana is down in the 40s or 50s along with reyes. Those guys normally were taken first round. I think this year it may be best if you get to pick #10 in the draft. At #10 you could maybe get both Longoria and Kinsler or you could switch one of those out with possibly Howard, Teixeira, or Fielder. How much will it really help you to take Puj…

Well as most of you probably know Cliff Lee was dealt to the Rangers a couple weeks ago. Haren was traded to the Angels last week. Now Derek Lee was traded to the Angels, but refused to waive his no trade clause. Podsednik was dealt to the Dodgers. Oswalt was dealt to the Phillies, but he ahsn't yetw aived a no trade clause.

Roy Halladay threw a perfect game to make this the first season in modern baseball where two perfect games were hurles. I remember in his first ever start I was a Jays fan and he almost threw a no-hitter. I think the first hit was in the ninth.

I am likely only doing two teams this year. Here's team 1. I picked Nyjer several rounds earlier than I should have. Even Bourn was still sitting there and I guess it makes no sense to take Nyjer as a cheaper Bourn when Bourn is still there. lol But also Bourn is injured. I accidentally auto picked Webb, but it was in round 19, so not so horrible to risk him there. I didn't realize until typing this I drafted 5 clsoers... Two are injured, one is struggling, and the other two aren't great. So maybe good I did. But maybe should have refrained from one of the first ones and got another position player. Also I drafted Padilla for his 2 start opening week and will th…

Custom League Settings (Unofficial) 2 minutes ago I was starting to browse the custom leagues to join and am having a hard time finding one that suits me. I completely understand the fun of creating a league is to tweak it your own unique way but some some of the settings just completely baffle me. First, If you are opening the league up publicly, why would you make it so the commissioner, somebody I probably don't know, has the power of vetoing a trade? I would imagine that the commissioner would be fair but since everybody has different player valuations how can i let 1 person decide my trade's fate. It should always be set for the league to vote. Being a …

Sorry its late but another off season is upon us and the hot stove has been red hot at this years winter meetings. Here's a recap so far, Curtis Granderson to the Yankees in a 3 team trade. Excellent move by NY. John Lackey signs a 5 yr 85 million dollar deal with Boston. Hideki Matsui signs with the Angels. Hallyday traded to the Phillies. Cliff Lee traded to the Mariners. Randy Wolf signs with the Brewers. Juan Pierre traded to White Sox. Rich Harden signs with Texas. Chris Coste signs with Mets. Bay and Holliday to sign soon. Also the braves had some nice little moves but I cant remember the deals off the top of my head. If anybody knows…

Well not many races left. Rockies trying to catch the dodgers. Braves trying to catch the rockies. Twins trying to catch the Tigers. Everything else is finalized. Well techinicall braves stillc ould catch the dodgers. What's weird is on Yahoo it says the dodgers' magic number is 1. That can't be true because they are only up by 3 and 1/2 and the rockies have 5 games left! So even if the dodgers win or rockies lose the rockies could still tie them! And the magic number is not for ties because for the Braves race the magic number is would be zero if it was for ties.

There actually IS still a AAA Championship. However it's a 1 game thing rather than a series. After SWEEPING the division series and league series the Memphis Redbirds (AAA club of the St. Louis Cardinals) head on to the AAA Championship game against the Durham Bulls (AAA club of the Tampa Bay Rays). The game will be nationally televised on espn2 Tuesday, September 22'nd, 2009 at 7 P.M. ET.

My first draft is Sunday. I have pick #4 and I'm not even sure who I would pick there. Ryan Howard is having a great spring, but #4 may be tooe arly to spend on him. Also I am not falling into that trap and doing what everyone always says by drafting hitters and forgetting pitchers until late. The past two years I ended up with too bad of pitching staffs and nothing I did could save me. I am probably going to just draft 3 big name starters though and then patch together the final 1 or 2 and then add weekly or something. Many stars are hurt. Good thing I waited this long to get started. I need to wait this long every year. Although it's annoying the same guy is in…
